Intermediate Care Registered Nurse

Serve as a Registered Nurse in an Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) , delivering compassionate, evidence-based care to patients who require close monitoring and complex nursing interventions. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor clinical status closely. Administer medications and manage IV therapy. Respond promptly to changes in condition and provide appropriate interventions. Collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals to develop individualized care plans. Educate patients and families, and advocate for safety and quality of care. Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EMR. Qualifications & Skills Current RN licensure. Strong clinical judgment for managing complex, monitored care. Competence in medication administration, IV management, and rapid escalation. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, patient-centered team. Excellent communication, patient/family education, and EMR documentation skills.
