Registered Nurse - Acute Care Surgical Unit - Full-Time Days

Role: The RN Clinical Nurse is an integral part of an interdisciplinary care team, responsible for delivering high-quality, safe, and individualized patient care in a clinical setting. Responsibilities: Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practices and critical thinking. Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care that respects cultural diversity and involves patients and families in care planning. Coordinate safe and effective care delivery through interdisciplinary communication, documentation, and adherence to clinical standards. Support performance improvement initiatives, participate in research, and promote evidence-based practice. Serve as preceptor or mentor to foster workforce development and a positive work environment. Develop protocols, participate in data collection, and ensure compliance with policies, standards, and safety goals. Qualifications & Skills: Associates or Bachelor's degree in Nursing; Bachelors preferred. Valid RN license (single or multi-state Compact) and BLS certification. Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Strong critical thinking, time management, and ability to work in fast-paced environments. Proficiency in technology and clinical documentation.
