Role Overview Provides professional nursing care within an interdisciplinary team, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Responsibilities Include Assessing patient status through interviews, observations, and physical exams. Developing individualized care plans collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare team. Executing interventions to achieve patient outcomes and documenting progress. Modifying care plans based on ongoing evaluations. Ensuring accurate documentation and demonstrating professional accountability. Maintaining current knowledge of evidence-based practices and troubleshooting equipment. Supporting the professional development of self and team members. Performing bedside lab testing and quality control as per policies. Team & Patient Care Collaborates with team members, utilizing resources to meet patient needs. Prioritizes patient care based on condition changes and manages complex cases. Communicates effectively, advocates for patients, and provides goal-oriented shift reports. Patient Education Assessing learning needs and tailoring education to age, cultural, and developmental factors. Ensuring patient safety by following protocols and utilizing hospital resources. Qualifications & Skills Registered Nurse license and BLS certification, ACLS within one year. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required; minimum one year RN experience preferred. Strong assessment, communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.
