INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies through the Certain Personnel/Modified Direct Hiring Authority. For the GS-12: You will participate in managing project plans, roadmaps, and deliverables, helping ensuring they are accurate measured on scope, cost, time, performance, and schedule. You will assist with managing current and future operations, including exercise planning and support activities. You will support program management of cybersecurity and assessments within the scop of the assigned portfolio. You will support workforce and performance management conducting Tier II/II maintenance and cybersecurity hardening of networks and platforms. For the GS-13: You will be responsible for managing the people, processes, and technology tied to assigned capabilities and services. You will be directly responsible for cybersecurity outcomes covering plans, policy, compliance, assessment, mitigation, remediation, and the management of Zero Trust activities You will manage current and future operations, including exercise planning and support activities. For GS-12: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) demonstrated familiarity with Zero Trust Principles, 2) knowledge of Project Management Management Principles and 3) understanding of IT modernization strategies and IT system lifecycle management practices. For GS-13: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) applied Zero Trust experience, 2) experience in network design/management and Virtual Desktop Environments and 3) experience in IT Project Management. For GS-12 and above: Experience that demonstrated accomplishment of computer project assignments that required a wide range of knowledge of computer requirements and techniques pertinent to the position to be filled. This knowledge is generally demonstrated by assignments where the applicant analyzed a number of alternative approaches in the process of advising management concerning major aspects of ADP system design, such as what system interrelationships must be considered, or what operating mode, system software, and/or equipment configuration is most appropriate for a given project.
