Registered Nurse - Acute Care Orthopedic Telemetry Unit

Role Overview: The Inpatient Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive patient care in a clinical setting, assessing, planning, and executing nursing interventions to meet physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs. They collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, coordinate care plans, and ensure effective communication to optimize patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. Deliver direct patient care, including treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures. Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and adjust care accordingly. Collaborate with physicians, support staff, and other team members to address patient needs. Participate in unit-based decision-making, quality improvement, and safety initiatives. Engage in patient and family education, discharge planning, and promoting positive health responses. Qualifications & Skills Graduate from a nursing specialty training program (required). Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Management (preferred). Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. Additional Details: The role involves working primarily in private and semi-private rooms with diverse acute and chronic conditions, including surgical orthopedic and total joint patients.
