# Myrtle Beach's Largest Local Resort Company in Search of VP of Marketing

About us Vacation Myrtle Beach is the largest wholly locally owned lodging company in Myrtle Beach. Our fourteen oceanfront resorts and vacation rental company welcome families who come to the Grand Strand to make memories that last a lifetime. Our vision is simple: to give our guests the most exciting, fun-filled, and enjoyable vacation experience ever. The opportunity We're looking for a marketing leader to own our marketing department and drive direct revenue across all of our resorts. You'll set the strategy, manage the budget, and lead the team, with the freedom to take full ownership as quickly as you're ready. This may be an ideal role for a rising marketing director ready for a first VP seat, or an experienced leader who wants real ownership at a locally owned company. What you'll do
• Own marketing strategy, budget, and results for all resorts
• Lead and develop a team of four marketing professionals, and manage our agencies and vendors
• Direct paid search and paid social campaigns that drive direct bookings
• Build and protect the brand across our resorts, website, social channels, and creative
• Grow email and SMS marketing programs that bring guests back year after year
• Plan and manage the marketing budget, with clear reporting on return on ad spend, direct revenue, and occupancy
• Bring AI into how the team plans, creates, targets, and measures campaigns
• Partner with our revenue and distribution team and resort operations to fill rooms and deliver a great guest experience What you bring
• Hotel or resort marketing experience (required)
• Deep, hands-on knowledge of paid search, social media marketing, branding, and email/SMS marketing
• A track record of managing marketing budgets and showing measurable results
• Hands-on experience using AI tools in marketing strategy and execution, not just familiarity
• Experience leading a team and managing agencies and vendors
• 8 or more years in marketing, advertising, or hospitality marketing
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred What we offer
• $150,000 base salary plus a performance bonus
