Role Overview This position involves providing comprehensive direct patient care in a 38-bed acute care unit, managing patients with diverse clinical conditions such as blood dyscrasias, endocrine issues, heart and renal failure, and infectious diseases. The nurse collaborates with a multidisciplinary team—including case managers, social workers, physical therapists, dietitians, pharmacists, and physicians—to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, educating patients and families about illness management, and promoting safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. The role emphasizes professional development, leadership, and collaboration, with opportunities for career advancement through a structured nurse career ladder that offers increased compensation for higher levels of responsibility.
