NOW HIRING – Apartment Maintenance Technician Canyon Lake Apartments – Rapid City, SD $21.00–$23.00 Per Hour (DOE) + Bonus & Benefits Full-Time / Monday – Friday from 8AM to 5PM & On-Call 1 Week, Every 4 Weeks Ready to start ASAP? Monarch Investment & Management Group is seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians to join our team at Canyon Lake Apartments, a 109-unit property located at 3741 Canyon Lake Drive in Rapid City. What You’ll Get: $21.00–$23.00 Per Hour (DOE) Up to $3,000 annually in quarterly bonuses On-call bonus structure up to $100/week 401(k) match up to 3% or $4,000, whichever is greater Paid training and professional development programs Tuition reimbursement program Paid Time Off: 80 hours during Year 1 120 hours during Years 2–4 160 hours after 5 years 8 paid holidays plus 2 paid half-day holidays or work anniversary off 3-week paid sabbatical every 5 years or stay bonus option Blue Cross medical insurance starting under $50/month for employees FREE dental and basic life insurance Vision and voluntary benefits available for family members Employees are eligible for 20% off rent at any Monarch community, terms and conditions apply Tool reimbursement program up to $500 annually Annual boot reimbursement up to $100 Employee referral bonuses ranging from $500–$1,000 What You’ll Be Doing: Complete service requests quickly and efficiently Turn/make-ready apartment units for new residents Perform general maintenance: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances Interior/exterior painting and repairs Maintain grounds and common areas Conduct preventative maintenance Keep shop and work areas clean and organized Participate in rotating on-call schedule (1 week every 4 weeks) What We’re Looking For: 1+ year of apartment or general maintenance experience HVAC-Boiler/EPA/CPO certifications preferred Working knowledge of: Plumbing (including copper pipe work) Electrical repairs (outlets, fixtures, switches) Appliance repair Carpentry, drywall & painting Water heater systems (gas & electric) Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation required Availability: Monday–Friday, 8AM – 5PM + on-call rotation Why Choose Monarch: At Monarch, this isn’t just another job, it’s a career path.
