Role Description The Salesperson role is a full-time, on-site position based at our dealership in Phoenix, AZ. In this role, the Salesperson will greet customers, assess their needs, and guide them through the vehicle selection and purchasing process. Daily responsibilities include presenting vehicle features and benefits, conducting test drives, explaining financing and warranty options, and preparing necessary sales documentation. The Salesperson will follow up with leads, maintain accurate records in the customer management system, and collaborate with the finance and management teams to close sales. This position also involves staying informed about inventory, current promotions, and market trends to provide informed recommendations and support a positive customer experience. Qualifications Demonstrated customer service and relationship-building skills, with the ability to listen, ask clarifying questions, and provide helpful guidance. Sales, negotiation, and closing abilities, including comfort with discussing pricing, financing options, and value propositions. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the capacity to explain vehicle features and terms clearly and professionally. Basic proficiency with computers, point-of-sale systems, and customer relationship management (CRM) tools to document interactions and track leads. Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple customers, and collaborate effectively with team members and management. High level of integrity, reliability, and professionalism when interacting with customers and handling sensitive financial information. Prior automotive or retail sales experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn product knowledge and sales processes is essential. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed to support dealership operations. High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in sales or business is a plus.
