Floor Technician (Full-Time)

Job Title: Floor Technician Location: Tri-County Salary Range: $20/hr. - $21/hr. Role And Responsibilities Perform heavy cleaning duties, including floor stripping, sealing, polishing, carpet shampooing, and steam cleaning. Operate and maintain cleaning equipment following manufacturer guidelines to ensure safety and efficiency. Conduct custodial tasks such as cleaning bathrooms, offices, kitchens, and meeting rooms, and restocking supplies. Maintain compliance with floor and carpet care standards through proper techniques and training. Maintain work records, report equipment issues, and follow safety and chemical handling procedures. Assist with moving furniture and supplies, and participate in required training and meetings. Work flexibly across various locations based on operational needs. Qualifications And Skills High school diploma or equivalent. At least 5 years of experience in commercial cleaning, including 6 months of floor stripping and waxing. Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and manage tasks efficiently. Strong communication skills and physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Ability to adhere to safety, OSHA, and site-specific policies. Additional Information Physical demands include standing, walking, climbing stairs, and operating equipment. Work environment is generally indoors with moderate noise levels.
