Job Summary We are seeking a Cook responsible for preparing high-quality meals that promote residents' health and enjoyment in a safe and organized kitchen environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve meals following standardized recipes and menus Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet established standards Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements Record production quantities and monitor food safety temperatures Stock, rotate, and store food per safety regulations Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, storage, and equipment areas Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines Support dishwashing and dining services as needed Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator Qualifications & Skills Experience in food preparation and kitchen safety Knowledge of dietary modifications and sanitation standards Ability to follow recipes and safety protocols Strong organizational and communication skills This role focuses on creating an enjoyable dining experience while ensuring safety and compliance, contributing positively to residents' well-being.
