Land Development Project Manager

Land Development Project Manager: Position Type: Direct Hire Position Location: Rochester Hills, MI Position Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 (Depending on Experience) + Bonus Position Schedule: Mon-Fri, hybrid availability (3 days in office per week; after completion of probation period) Responsibilities: Manage civil site development projects Lead a team of engineers and designers on the projects Manage projects to a profit while meeting all deadlines with quality. Maintain and expand client relationships Actively participate in the development of business from existing and new clients, and develop and write proposals for new projects Selling the services offered by the department as outlined in the Growth Plan Developed for this Market or as directed by the Director of the department or the President. May organize and conduct presentations and interviews for procuring new clients, develop workload forecasting documents, and organize a constructive workload schedule to manage all projects to the budget and schedule of delivery dictated by the contract. Represents Spalding DeDecker at networking events, conferences, public meetings, and within the community Provides mentorship and training for junior staff Actively recruit new hires for the team as well as manage and develop existing team members. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; Higher Education is a plus Professional engineering license in the State of Michigan 5+ years of experience specific to land development projects (Required); 10+ years preferred Ability to work independently as a project manager and as part of our land development group Work in an office environment Attend client meetings and travel by car and/or plane if the project requires it Perform project site visits Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
