Indirect Purchasing Specialist

What is the Summary of This Position? In this role, you will be responsible for managing purchasing processes, supplier relationships and negotiations, while ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement and will report to the Indirect Procurement Manager. What You'll Be Doing? Managing end-to-end indirect purchasing processes for assigned categories, Following market trends and developments in related categories, both locally and globally, Conducting supplier research and identifying alternative sourcing opportunities, Managing the procurement of machinery, equipment, technical materials and services required by our production facilities, Managing RFQ/RFP processes, evaluating commercial proposals and conducting supplier negotiations, Negotiating commercial terms and supporting contract preparation and execution processes, Monitoring supplier performance in terms of cost, quality, delivery and service levels, Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand purchasing needs and ensure timely and effective procurement processes. Which Profile Are We Looking For? Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related fields, Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing/procurement, preferably in indirect purchasing, Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is an asset, Experience in technical purchasing, machinery, equipment and/or service procurement is preferred, Knowledge of import processes is an asset, Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Experience with SAP MM (Materials Management) is preferred, Good command of written and spoken English, Strong negotiation, analytical thinking and stakeholder management skills, Based in or willing to relocate to Düzce.
