Personal Injury Paralegal

Responsibilities of the position include: Managing, organizing and facilitating complex litigation cases involving multiple parties and counsel Collecting, managing, organizing, and reviewing large volumes of discovery documents electronically Well-developed writing and research skills Drafting pleadings, discovery, and routine correspondence Applying both state and federal court rules of civil procedure Calculating, calendaring and tracking court deadlines, and coordinating the scheduling of depositions, mediations, hearings and trials A national law firm is looking to identify a Litigation Paralegal for their Cody, Wyoming office! Qualifications Position Requirements: Associate's degree or Certification in Paralegal Studies 3+ years of experience in a combination of the position practice areas Proficiency in applying court rules and procedures in both state and federal courts Experience in requesting, reviewing, analyzing, and summarizing medical, financial, and other case-related documents and records Well-developed writing and research skills Experience drafting pleadings, discovery and routine correspondence Experience in identifying, tracking, and managing case-related deadlines in an electronic and paper calendaring system The ability to anticipate attorney needs, identifying problems and finding solutions Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritize a high-volume workload Experience in managing electronic and paper filing systems Experience preparing for arbitration, mediation and trial All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
