Data Scientist

Required • Analytical thinking; • Understanding of statistics fundamentals; • In-depth knowledge on the Hadoop stack (Map reduce, HDFS, Hive, Pig); • In-depth knowledge on machine learning methods; • Experience with scripting languages such as Python; • Understanding of main statistical methods; • Understanding of sampling techniques; • Understanding of descriptive and inferential statistics concepts; • Business domain experience in one of the following areas: retail, enterprise mobility, healthcare; • B.Sc. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or related field is required • M.Sc. / Ph.D degree in related field is desirable.
