Data Governance Manager

Qualifications Preferably 8–15 years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, Data Strategy, Data Architecture or related areas, Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Enterprise Data Governance, Data Quality, Metadata Management, Data Catalog, Data Lineage and Master Data Management, Familiarity with Data Governance frameworks such as DAMA, DGI or equivalent methodologies, Knowledge of KVKK/GDPR, DORA, Solvency II and other relevant regulatory requirements, Experience in developing data governance policies, standards, procedures and operating models, Experience working with Data Owners, Data Stewards and cross-functional business and technology teams, Experience in measuring and improving Data Governance maturity and capabilities, Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, Ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences, Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, organizational and prioritization skills, Ability to work effectively with senior management and multiple business functions, Excellent command of written and spoken English. Responsibilities Lead the implementation and continuous development of the enterprise-wide Data Governance Framework, roadmap and strategy, Develop and maintain Data Governance policies, standards, procedures and guidelines in line with business needs and Achmea requirements, Define and maintain Data Governance roles and responsibilities, including Data Owners and Data Stewards, and ensure effective operation of the governance model, Lead Data Governance committees and coordinate Data Governance Board meetings, including agendas, decisions and follow-up actions, Design, manage and continuously improve governance processes including Data Quality Management, Metadata Management, Data Request & Usage, Data Lifecycle & Retention and Critical Data Element Management, Establish and monitor data quality standards, metrics and control mechanisms, Coordinate Data Governance requirements related to KVKK, DORA, Solvency II and other relevant regulations, Collaborate with Internal Audit, Second Line and regulatory stakeholders to ensure governance controls are properly implemented and evidenced, Promote data ownership, accountability and governance awareness across business domains, Work closely with Data Owners, Data Stewards, Data Architecture, Information Technology, Compliance, Legal and Process Development teams, Define enterprise data domains and establish ownership and accountability for each domain, Establish Data Product Governance standards and support the lifecycle management of Data Products, Ensure that data used in AI initiatives complies with Data Governance requirements and contribute to AI Governance activities from a data perspective, ''At Eureko Sigorta, equal opportunity is our priority.
