Role Overview: The General Service Technician performs non-technical automotive services, including oil changes, tire mounting, balancing, and rotation. Responsibilities include driving customers, picking up parts, maintaining shop cleanliness, and operating company vehicles safely. The role involves observing vehicle conditions, documenting inspections, and following safety procedures. Qualifications & Skills: Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license. Ability to obtain a State Inspector License within 30 days is required. Basic understanding of vehicle mechanics, ability to work Monday through Saturday, and physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods are essential. Key Duties: Performing tire and wheel services, oil changes, vehicle inspections, and safety checks. Maintaining a clean work environment, safely transporting customers and parts, and adhering to safety protocols are critical. The technician will follow all policies outlined in the Employee Handbook. Work Environment & Physical Demands: Exposure to moderate to loud noises, dust, fumes, and varying temperatures. Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, crouch, and handle objects regularly, with good vision, hearing, and communication skills.
