Immediate need for a talented Sr Systems Software Engineer (C++/Linux). This is a 12+ month’s contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Colorado Springs, CO. Job Details: Job Title: Sr Systems Software Engineer (C++/Linux) Location: Colorado Springs, CO Duration: 12+ months & extendable We are looking for Sr Systems Software Engineer (C++/Linux) with the following:
• 7 years or experience with Linux systems development utilizing C/C++
• 5 years developing concurrent multi-threaded (pthreads) applications.
• 3 years of experience developing systems software on the VMS operating system
• Excellent working knowledge of VMS internals and development of applications utilizing Asynchronous Traps (AST) and Global Sections.
• Advanced TCP/IP and UDP network programming. Our client is a leading organization and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
