PRO is seeking an experienced, highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our accounting team. We are seeking an experienced, highly organized, and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our collaborative accounting team. In this role, you will take ownership of multi-entity financial reviews under GAAP, serve as a trusted subject-matter expert, and play a key role in supporting and elevating team members as our organization expands. Key Responsibilities Include: Lead all phases of monthly close and financial reporting for multiple entities, including reviewing journal entries and general ledger reconciliations Serve as a mentor to team members, fostering best practices, accurate reporting, and ongoing professional growth Oversee GAAP compliance, corporate accounting policies, and internal control documentation and implementation Ensure timely filing of state and federal licensing and reporting requirements Lead the delivery of necessary documentation and analysis to fulfill PBC requests from auditors and tax advisors Proactively identify and implement improvements to standard operating procedures and accounting workflows Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to review monthly GL activity and streamline reporting processes. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor, including assistance with special projects and ad hoc reporting Experience & Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required; CPA strongly preferred 6-8+ years of total accounting experience, with at least 2+ years at the Senior level Strong collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills and a desire to support team members Proven track record of taking end-to-end ownership of financial processes and driving workflow improvements High attention to detail, proactive time management, and sharp analytical problem-solving skills Proficiency with Google or Microsoft Office suites (e.g. Sheets/Excel), and cloud accounting software (e.g. Xero); experience with BI reporting (e.g. Metabase, BigQuery) a plus Pro Tip: We get a LOT of applicants, so if you want to stand out, write a few sentences telling us what stood out to you, and why you think you’d thrive in this particular opportunity.Compensation & Benefits Pay range = (wages + bonus) Comprehensive full-time benefits package averaging $20,000+ per year (amount varies based on age, family size, and eligibility), including: Health & wellness benefits (insurance or cash-in-lieu options) Paid maternity and paternity leave 401(k) with 100% match up to 8% of wages Paid holidays, PTO, and family-life gifts Vision, dental, disability, life insurance, and other voluntary benefits Annual Range$90,000—$105,000 USD This job was verified from Greenhouse (US).
