Job Description Twin Farms is looking for a Pastry Sous Chef to join our culinary team and help create memorable pastry and dessert experiences across the property. Working closely with our Executive Pastry Chef and Executive Chef, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to menu development, lead daily pastry production, mentor team members, and bring your own creativity to an exceptional luxury dining program. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves the craft of pastry, takes pride in the details, and enjoys being part of a collaborative kitchen. What You’ll Be Doing Prepare and oversee pastry and dessert production for our fine dining experience, Twiggs Restaurant, special events, and seasonal programming. Collaborate on new desserts, recipes, presentations, and menu ideas. Help lead and organize daily pastry production to ensure quality and consistency. Train, coach, and support other members of the culinary team. Assist with scheduling, ordering, inventory, and production planning. Accommodate allergies, dietary needs, and individual guest preferences with creativity and care. Maintain exceptional standards of organization, cleanliness, food safety, and presentation. Step into broader kitchen leadership responsibilities when needed. Work closely with colleagues across the property to create seamless and personalized guest experiences. Qualifications Strong pastry experience, ideally in fine dining, luxury hospitality, or another high-quality culinary environment. A strong foundation in pastry techniques and production. Creativity and an interest in contributing ideas. High standards for quality, consistency, and presentation. Strong organization and time-management skills. A collaborative and positive approach to working with a team. Interest in mentoring and developing others. The ability to stay calm, flexible, and detail-oriented in a busy kitchen. Previous leadership experience is helpful, but we are equally interested in talented pastry professionals who are ready to take the next step in their careers.
