The Opportunity As our business continues to expand in Turkey, we are looking for a proactive and self-driven Import & Logistics Specialist to manage import operations, logistics processes and stock control, ensuring efficient product availability across the supply chain. The Import & Logistics Specialist will report directly to the Operations Manager and coordinate with international suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, warehouses and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate can independently manage end-to-end import, logistics and inventory responsibilities, drive operational excellence, and ensure smooth execution of supply chain activities. What You'll Do Manage end-to-end import operations from international suppliers, primarily from Serbia and Italy. Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, warehouses and transportation providers to ensure timely product delivery. Prepare, review and maintain import documentation in compliance with customs and regulatory requirements. Monitor shipment schedules and proactively manage potential delays or operational risks. Own stock and inventory control: monitor stock levels, expiry dates and stock accuracy; run regular cycle counts and reconciliations with the warehouse; investigate and resolve discrepancies. Support inventory planning by ensuring product availability and optimal stock levels in line with sales forecasts. Manage purchase, shipment and inventory records through ERP systems. Track logistics performance and identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization. Collaborate closely with Sales, Finance, Customer Service and Operations teams, as well as Farmina headquarters. Ensure compliance with import regulations, customs procedures and company policies. Prepare regular reports and analyses on logistics performance, stock status and operational KPIs. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Logistics, International Trade, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a related field. Minimum 2 years of experience in import, logistics or supply chain operations; 3+ years preferred. Solid knowledge of import processes, customs procedures and international trade regulations. Experience in international transportation and freight management. Hands-on experience in stock and inventory control, including cycle counts, reconciliations and stock accuracy reporting. Experience working with ERP systems. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Excellent planning, organizational and follow-up capabilities. Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities. Detail-oriented, results-driven and highly proactive. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Fluent English, written and spoken. Based in Istanbul and able to work on-site at our office on the European Side. Why Join Farmina?
