# HR Specialist

Gateway Management Company

Location: Birmingham, AL, 35242 Job Description: Gateway Management is currently looking for an HR Specialist. This position will be responsible for providing support to the HR department in various areas including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR policies and procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist with recruitment efforts including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews Provide support to employees on HR-related issues including policies, and procedures Assist with performance management processes including goal setting, performance evaluations, and development plans Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations Assist with employee relations issues including investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records Assist with HR projects and initiatives as needed Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field 2+ years of experience in HR Strong understanding of HR policies and procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Comprehensive benefits available.
