# Registered Nurse (RN) - Float Pool - Days

Role Overview The Float Nurse provides expert, patient-centered care across over 65 inpatient units in a leading academic medical center. This full-time position involves supporting diverse patient populations, including high-acuity and critical care areas for nurses with ICU experience. The role emphasizes clinical judgment, adaptability, and strong communication skills, allowing nurses to work independently in various settings while promoting safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include developing individualized care plans, educating patients and families, and participating in continuous professional development. The position offers opportunities for growth, recognition, and access to well-being resources. Candidates must possess an RN license, at least 2 years of recent acute Medical-Surgical experience, and be capable of delivering comprehensive, holistic care in a fast-paced environment.
