Registered Nurse - Day/Evening Shifts

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse provides comprehensive patient care, including assessing conditions, developing and implementing care plans, and documenting outcomes. They foster a safe, therapeutic environment by supervising staff and ensuring timely rounds and precaution records. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with departments to facilitate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges. Interact with patients, families, and healthcare providers to gather and analyze data for treatment and discharge planning. Participate in interdisciplinary planning, contribute to department goals, and engage in professional development. Supervise direct patient care when needed, manage resources within budget, and serve as a role model for staff and students. Qualifications & Skills Licensed Registered Nurse with a current state license and CPR certification. Preferred experience includes psychiatric care and knowledge of abnormal psychology. Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professional competence. Additional Requirements Complete CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
