Software Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner! The Role • Design, build, and operate high-scale, highly available distributed services that power a core evaluation engine for cloud compliance. • Own solutions across the full lifecycle: design, implementation, deployment, monitoring, and support. • Improve platform scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency as customer adoption and evaluation volume grow. • Build new capabilities that expand how customers evaluate, enforce, and remediate compliance across their cloud resources. • Participate in on-call rotations, drive root cause analysis, and continuously improve operational health. • Collaborate with partner teams across related services and the broader cloud governance ecosystem. What You'll Need • 3+ years of professional software development experience. • 2+ years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling. • 1+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, or distributed software applications. • Experience with Object-Oriented Design principles. • Experience programming with at least one software programming language (e.g., C#, C++, Java, Perl). • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
