Finance Manager

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join our project team in Artvin and take the lead responsibility for financial management, procurement, cost control and commercial oversight at site. This is a hands-on role working closely with the Lidya finance and Artmin construction, procurement, engineering and finance teams. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain clear visibility over project commitments, actual costs and forecast cost to completion, while ensuring strong financial and commercial discipline throughout project execution. Key Responsibilities Lead the financial management, procurement and cost control activities of the project at site Own and continuously update the project budget, forecasts and Cost to Complete / Estimate at Completion (EAC) Monitor actual costs, commitments, purchase orders and contracts against approved budgets Identify cost overruns, potential claims and forecast deviations at an early stage and provide management with clear corrective actions Prepare regular project cost reports, cash flow forecasts, variance analyses and management reporting Take an active role in procurement and purchasing processes, including budget availability, commercial comparison, commitment tracking and financial evaluation of purchase orders and contracts Maintain comprehensive tracking of procurement packages from requisition through PO/contract award, delivery, invoicing and payment Review and control contractor and supplier progress payment applications, ensuring consistency with contractual terms, approved quantities, actual site progress and available budget Coordinate closely with engineering and construction teams to reconcile physical progress with financial progress Track contract values, approved variations, change orders, claims, contingencies and remaining commitments Establish and maintain a reliable commitment register and project cost database Support commercial evaluation of variations and provide their impact on total project cost and Cost to Complete Manage project cash requirements and short- and medium-term cash flow planning Ensure invoices and payments are properly supported, approved and allocated to the correct project cost codes Support contract administration and procurement negotiations from a financial and commercial perspective Coordinate site finance activities with the corporate finance team and act as the senior finance representative for the Artvin project site Provide management with timely visibility on financial risks, procurement exposure and expected final project cost Support internal/external audits and project close-out activities Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or a related discipline Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience, preferably including major construction, mining, infrastructure, energy or industrial projects Strong hands-on experience in project cost control, budgeting, forecasting and Cost to Complete Demonstrated experience in procurement, contract and purchase order tracking Experience reviewing contractor progress payments, variations and commercial claims Strong understanding of the relationship between physical project progress, commitments, actual costs and forecast final cost Advanced MS Excel and SAP skills Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools is an advantage Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, combined with the ability to see the overall project picture Ability to work effectively with finance, procurement, engineering, construction and senior management teams Strong ownership mentality, commercial judgement and follow-through Good command of English Willingness to be primarily based at the project site in Artvin
