Director of Senior Living Sales – Hillcrest Grand Lodge Location: Papillion, NE Service Line: Hillcrest Grand Lodge Schedule: Full-Time Hillcrest Health & Living is looking for a driven, relationship-focused, and results-oriented Director of Senior Living Sales to join the leadership team at Hillcrest Grand Lodge . This is more than a traditional sales role. You will often be one of the first people a prospective resident or family meets as they begin exploring senior living options, and that first conversation matters. We are looking for someone who knows how to connect first and sell second —someone who can build trust, understand what families are really looking for, and guide them confidently from the first inquiry through move-in. At Hillcrest, our mission is simple: Inspiring people to live their best lives. As the Director of Senior Living Sales, you will help bring that mission to life by creating meaningful connections, growing occupancy, and helping prospective residents find a community where they can truly feel at home. What You’ll Do As the Director of Senior Living Sales , you will own the sales process for Hillcrest Grand Lodge while building strong relationships with prospective residents, families, referral partners, and community organizations. You Will Manage prospective resident and family inquiries from initial contact through move-in. Build strong relationships with prospects through phone calls, face-to-face conversations, tours, meetings, and ongoing follow-up. Conduct engaging and personalized community tours that help families picture life at Hillcrest Grand Lodge. Develop a strong pipeline of prospective residents and maintain consistent follow-up throughout the decision-making process. Build and maintain referral relationships with healthcare providers, senior-focused organizations, community partners, and other referral sources. Identify new opportunities to generate leads and increase awareness of Hillcrest Grand Lodge. Maintain accurate prospect and sales activity within the CRM. Track sales activity, conversion, move-ins, occupancy, and other key performance indicators. Partner with community leadership to support census and occupancy goals. Collaborate with operations, clinical, and other team members throughout the move-in process. Help ensure prospective residents and families receive clear, timely, and consistent communication. Participate in community events, networking opportunities, outreach activities, and referral-development efforts. Develop creative approaches to reach prospective residents and referral partners. Stay informed about the senior living market, competitors, and local referral landscape. Jump in wherever needed to help create a smooth and welcoming experience for prospective residents and families. What We’re Looking For We are looking for someone who is competitive enough to care about results—but relationship-focused enough to understand that senior living sales is personal. The right candidate will be proactive, visible in the community, and comfortable building relationships face to face. You should be someone who enjoys meeting new people, asking the right questions, and helping families work through a decision that can feel overwhelming. This role is not about waiting for the phone to ring. Ideal Candidates Will Have A strong relationship-based sales approach. Confidence building rapport quickly with prospective residents and families. Strong closing and follow-up skills. A proactive approach to lead generation and business development. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong networking and community-outreach abilities. Ability to conduct engaging, personalized community tours. Strong organization and pipeline-management skills. Experience working with CRM systems and sales metrics. Ability to balance relationship-building with occupancy and sales goals. Strong follow-through and personal accountability. Ability to collaborate effectively with community and operational leadership. A genuine interest in working with aging adults and their families. Creativity and willingness to think outside the box when generating leads and building referral relationships. Education & Experience At least three years of senior living sales, admissions, or related experience required. At least two years of experience leading sales efforts or a sales team required. Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred. Master’s degree preferred. Experience with senior living occupancy growth, referral development, lead generation, and move-in conversion strongly preferred. Why Hillcrest Grand Lodge? Senior living sales is different from selling a product. You are helping someone make a major life decision. A family may be overwhelmed, unsure of what they need, or worried about making the wrong choice. Your job is to listen, understand, educate, and help them determine whether Hillcrest Grand Lodge is the right fit. That takes patience. It takes persistence. And it takes someone who can build real trust. At Hillcrest Grand Lodge, you will have the opportunity to combine relationship-building, business development, sales strategy, and community involvement in a role where your results have a direct impact on both the organization and the families you serve. What Hillcrest Offers Full-time leadership opportunity. Supportive community and organizational leadership. Multiple health insurance plan options for eligible team members. Vision, dental, and life insurance. Professional development and career-growth opportunities. Dayforce Wallet, allowing you to choose when you get paid. Gym membership reimbursement and partner discounts. Opportunity to build and own a senior living sales pipeline. Opportunity to develop community and referral relationships throughout the market. Opportunities to grow within Hillcrest Grand Lodge and Hillcrest Health & Living. Physical & Other Requirements Must be able to speak, read, and write English. Must be comfortable meeting with prospective residents, families, and referral partners in a variety of settings. Must be able to conduct community tours and participate in networking and outreach activities. Must be organized and able to manage multiple prospects, priorities, and follow-up activities at the same time. Must have strong attention to detail and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to utilize CRM systems, technology, and available resources efficiently and effectively. Must be able to travel locally for networking, outreach, and relationship-building activities as needed. Other duties as assigned. Ready to Turn Relationships Into Results? If you are an experienced senior living sales professional who knows how to build trust, create connections, and turn relationships into move-ins, we would love to meet you. Join Hillcrest Grand Lodge as our Director of Senior Living Sales and help us continue inspiring people to live their best lives by connecting prospective residents and families with a community they can feel confident calling home.
