Delivery Driver - Full-Time

Role: Responsible for safely and efficiently transporting products from the warehouse to customer locations via tractor trailer, ensuring proper delivery and unloading according to company standards and customer specifications. Key Responsibilities Transport products safely and on time, adhering to assigned routes. Unload shipments using appropriate methods, handling products in all weather conditions. Manage damaged goods, returns, and transport back to the warehouse. Complete all paperwork accurately, including logs, inspections, and invoices. Follow food safety protocols, maintain vehicle sanitation, and prevent cross contamination. Operate equipment such as hand carts, pallets, and load bars safely. Develop good customer relationships through courteous service and clear communication. Report route deviations, loading issues, or customer concerns to management. Transport backhauls and line hauls, ensuring correct and timely deliveries. Work flexible schedules as needed and maintain regular attendance. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent; tractor trailer driving experience preferred. Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License and insurability. Knowledge of DOT regulations, Hazmat guidelines, and safe lifting/delivery practices. Skills in long-distance driving, effective communication, problem-solving, and delivery. Ability to operate tractor-trailers in various conditions, perform basic math, and plan work independently. Physical & Work Environment Regularly lift up to 50 pounds, push or pull up to 350 pounds, and climb in/out of vehicles. Work involves exposure to weather extremes, moving mechanical parts, and occasional confined spaces. Work may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime to meet customer needs.
