Senior EPMO Project Manager The Senior EPMO Project Manager will work within the Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) to lead medium- to large-scale business transformation and IT/operational healthcare programs. In this role, the Senior EPMO Project Manager will: Develop and execute comprehensive project and program plans covering business, operational, technology, application, and organizational deliverables in healthcare care management Establish scope, objectives, milestones, critical paths, dependencies, schedules, and resource requirements. Develop and manage transformation roadmaps that align business processes, operating models, technology, people, and change adoption. Lead complex cross-functional programs involving approximately 15–20 core stakeholders/resources and broader teams of up to 40 people. Develop and drive business and technical requirements through planning, execution, and implementation. Manage external vendors, suppliers, development partners, and contracted deliverables. Facilitate working sessions, Steering Committees, and executive-level meetings. Provide clear reporting and recommendations to executive managers, directors, managing partners, and C-suite leadership. Identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and competing priorities, escalating and resolving matters as appropriate. Manage project financials, including budgeting, monthly forecasting, accruals, and budget changes. Monitor program performance and report on milestones, KPIs, financials, risks, issues, and overall delivery. Allocate resources and coordinate activities across business and technology workstreams. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, project governance, and quality standards. Apply appropriate project management, business transformation, and technology practices to improve delivery outcomes. The appropriate individual will have demonstrated experience in the following: Senior project/program management leading complex healthcare (Payer) business and technology initiatives. Significant experience within the healthcare payer industry, with exposure to areas such as Medicare, Medicaid, FIDE-SNP (Fully Integrated Dual Eligible – Medicare Advantage Special Needs Plan) Care Management, Clinical Operations, Population Health, or health plan operations. Managing programs that span business operations and IT/technology delivery. Working with external vendors, development firms, and implementation partners. Leading large, multi-vendor and/or multi-application programs. Business transformation and organizational change initiatives. Ability to communicate and present effectively with executives and C-suite stakeholders. Leading through influence across diverse, cross-functional teams. Full project management lifecycle experience, including scope, requirements, schedule, budget, financial management, accruals, risk, resources, dependencies, reporting, and delivery. Knowledge of Project Development Life Cycle (PDLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies. Working within an EPMO or formal program management organization. Leading Steering Committees and executive presentations. Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred. PMP or other recognized Project Management certification preferred.
