Matec Industries is an international engineering and manufacturing group specializing in filtration, solid-liquid separation, water treatment and dewatering technologies, providing equipment and complete solutions for industries including mining, aggregates, stone processing, recycling and industrial wastewater treatment. Alfa Pumps, part of the Matec Group, specializes in industrial pumping solutions designed for demanding applications, including slurry, process water and abrasive-fluid handling. To support the growth of our pump business in Türkiye, we are looking for a Pump Sales Specialist who will be responsible for developing the market, managing customer relationships and providing technically appropriate pump solutions for industrial applications. Key Responsibilities • Develop and manage sales opportunities for industrial and slurry pumps in the Turkish market • Identify new customers, projects and business opportunities, particularly in mining, mineral processing, aggregates and industrial applications • Visit customers and project sites to understand technical and process requirements • Select and propose suitable pump solutions in coordination with our technical and engineering teams • Prepare and follow up technical and commercial quotations • Manage the complete sales process from initial inquiry and technical clarification through quotation, negotiation and order • Develop and maintain relationships with end users, engineering companies, EPC contractors and industrial customers • Coordinate with Alfa Pumps / Matec Group in Italy regarding technical selections, quotations, orders and delivery schedules • Follow market developments, competitors and upcoming projects • Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide regular sales forecasts, visit reports and opportunity reports to Management • Coordinate with the after-sales and technical teams when required Qualifications • University degree preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mining Engineering or a related technical field • Previous experience in industrial pump sales, technical sales or rotating equipment is strongly preferred • Knowledge of centrifugal pumps, slurry pumps and industrial pumping applications is a strong advantage • Experience in mining, mineral processing, aggregates, water treatment or similar industrial sectors is preferred • Good commercial understanding and ability to prepare and negotiate technical/commercial offers • Professional working proficiency in English, both written and spoken • Ability to communicate effectively with international technical and commercial teams • Strong customer relationship, negotiation and business development skills • Proficiency in MS Office and structured sales reporting • Willingness and ability to travel frequently for customer and site visits • Proactive, target-oriented, organized and capable of independently following opportunities through to completion • Strong teamwork and communication skills About the Role This is a field-oriented technical sales position requiring regular interaction with customers, engineering teams and industrial project stakeholders. The successful candidate will play an important role in developing Alfa Pumps’ business in Türkiye, building long-term customer relationships and expanding Matec Group’s presence in industrial pumping applications.
