Lead Developer - Heavy VB6

Main Job Responsibilities Completing development tasks, including any necessary debugging or unit testing. Enforcing existing development procedures and coding standards. Completing code reviews. Breakdown and estimation of development tasks as necessary within the product life cycle. Understanding how each task relates to the overall product and the business in general. Work to complete assigned R&D assignments. Participate in software support as necessary. Participate in fine tuning development processes and procedures. Minimum Educational Experience Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience. Required Skills Strong organizational and leadership qualities. Expert knowledge of Visual Basic 6, including creation of custom controls. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server from 2005 or later, with strong SQL coding skills and knowledge of stored procedures, triggers and functions. Strong knowledge of Crystal Reports. Experience developing systems for Microsoft client and server operating systems. Experience using and integrating applications with third party controls. Experience with licensed product release cycles, client installations and configurations. Strong knowledge of XML and related technologies. Capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work effectively with management, customers, business analysts and other developers. Strong verbal and written communication. Desired Skills Extensive experience with MS SQL Server 2008 R2. Programming experience in VB.NET using Visual Studio, Visual Studio 2010 preferred. Experience with globalization and localization. Previous experience with Theatrical Distribution, Exhibition and/or Digital Cinema businesses. Understanding of basic accounting (debits/credits/general ledger).
