Gas Turbine Mechanic

Role: Gas Turbine Mechanic Location: Houston, TX • Contract Duration: 12 months Pay: $25/hr on W2(Inclusive all) Shift: Monday • Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm Description Demonstrating familiarity with hand, pneumatic and hydraulic tooling Accurately use precision measuring equipment (ID / OD / depth micrometers, calipers, etc.) Possessing a deep mechanical aptitude with ability to independently comprehend complex machining or assembly drawings Working as a team member to follow detailed work routers for inspection and repair of units and rotating equipment while under time constraints Providing On-Site support as needed Required 2+ years experience: Ability to troubleshoot, test, assemble, disassemble, and visually inspect aero equipment. Experience repairing and modifying non-conforming equipment. Capability to perform testing with minimal supervision/instruction. Familiarity with hand, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools. Desirable Mechanical Aptitude – Strong understanding of mechanical systems and equipment. Attention to Detail – Precision in inspections, measurements, and repairs.
