Management and Program Analyst

The Management and Program Analyst position is located in the Care Navigation Center, Local Facility Office of Community Care, at the Chillicothe Ohio VA Medical Center. The purpose of this position is to assist with the management, development, and evaluation of the Community Care and Referral Coordination Departments, providing administrative support and contributing to the facilitation of effective and efficient specialty care delivery systems. THIS IS NOT A VIRTUAL POSITION, YOU MUST LIVE WITHIN OR BE WILLING TO RELOCATE WITHIN A COMMUTABLE DISTANCE OF THE DUTY LOCATION The purpose of this position is to assist with the management, development, and evaluation of the Community Care and Referral Coordination Departments, providing administrative support and contributing to the facilitation of effective and efficient specialty care delivery systems. Duties include but are not limited to the following: Collects and analyzes program data Prepares reports and presentations for program leadership Identifies trends and proposes program improvements Interprets and applies program policies Conducts compliance monitoring and supports corrective actions Coordinates workflow and process improvement initiatives Tracks project milestones and follows up with stakeholders Develops and delivers staff training materials Resolves issues regarding referrals, authorizations, and billing Maintains program records and ensures data integrity Develops and presents information to staff and stakeholders Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm Recruitment & Relocation Incentives: Not authorized Critical Skills Incentive (CSI): Not approved To apply for this position, you must have the following qualifications: EXPERIENCE: You must have at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service that includes: Collects and analyzes clinical program data. Maintains program records and ensures data integrity. Identifies trends and proposes clinical program improvements. Coordinates workflow and process improvement initiatives. Tracks project milestones and follows up with stakeholders. • OR- EDUCATION: Two full years of graduate education or a master's degree, such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. • OR- Combination: Equivalent combinations of successfully completed graduate-level education (beyond 18 semester hours) directly related to the work of this position and specialized experience, as described above. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS: The work is primarily sedentary, with occasional walking, standing, and carrying light materials. The work is performed in an office setting.
