# Entry-Level Insurance Sales Representative

The successful applicant will be trained to market our insurance products, showcase our offerings to new customers, and help policyholders navigate the claims process. Compensation: $62,000 base - $83,000 at plan yearly Qualifications Self- motivated and goal-oriented. Professional with strong communication skills Driven to create long-term financial success Customer service experience or experience as a sales representative is highly valued Candidates with an active Life & Health insurance license are strongly preferred Must have graduated high school or received a GED; a Bachelor’s degree is desired Job seekers must already have or be willing to get an insurance license Basic computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is required Experience using accounting or sales-related software is beneficial Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma mandatory Must be a superb communicator able to carefully analyze complex ideas like insurance programs; experience working in customer service is beneficial Responsibilities Meet with clients to discuss their needs and help families protect what matters most. Follow a proven sales system with qualified leads. Learn from experienced leaders through ongoing coaching. Build a rewarding career with advancement opportunities. Tailor risk management strategies and client profiles to reflect each customer’s individual needs Keep an accurate log of sales databases, client reports, bookkeeping records, and more to share progress toward goals with key stakeholders Conduct meetings with new and potential clients and carefully listen to their individual circumstances in order to present the best insurance policies to meet their needs Remain updated about insurance industry changes that may affect customers in your portfolio Implement marketing strategies including, but not limited, to cold calling and networking to connect with potential clients while simultaneously maintaining a portfolio of current clients
