Role Summary&nbsp; Reports to: Construction Manager / Sr. Construction Manager (by assigned scope)&nbsp; Experience: 4+ years&nbsp; Position Overview&nbsp; The Sr. Project Engineer is an owner/operator team member who owns the coordination, readiness, and follow-through for assigned scopes across Fleet’s data center projects. Reporting to the Construction Manager or Sr. Construction Manager who leads their assigned&nbsp;scope, and&nbsp;working closely with the Sr Construction Managers (CSA, MEP, and BTM/Substation/BESS), this role goes beyond tracking information — it actively drives closure across multiple parties, frames issues with recommended next steps, and keeps the owner team’s visibility decision-ready.&nbsp; The Sr. Project Engineer is a force multiplier for the Construction Managers: reducing leadership blind spots,&nbsp;anticipating&nbsp;readiness and coordination risks before they&nbsp;impact&nbsp;the project, and mentoring Project Engineers. This role bridges project controls and construction management.&nbsp; Key Responsibilities&nbsp; Coordination &amp; Readiness Ownership&nbsp; Own Assigned Coordination: Independently&nbsp;own&nbsp;coordination, readiness, and action closure for meaningful scopes or workstreams, driving items to resolution across internal and external parties.&nbsp; Decision &amp;&nbsp;Commitment Tracking:&nbsp;Maintain&nbsp;owner decision, clarification, and&nbsp;commitment tracking;&nbsp;identify&nbsp;stalled items and highlight business impact of unresolved issues.&nbsp; Review Workflow &amp; Visibility: Manage review workflows and status visibility so owner decisions are&nbsp;timely&nbsp;and informed;&nbsp;identify&nbsp;and clear bottlenecks.&nbsp; Reporting Leadership: Own recurring reporting for assigned responsibilities, presenting clear status, trends, and open risks to leadership.&nbsp; Risk, Procurement &amp; Turnover&nbsp; Risk Anticipation:&nbsp;Anticipate&nbsp;coordination, turnover, and readiness risks before they&nbsp;impact&nbsp;the project, and bring them forward with context and recommended actions.&nbsp; Procurement &amp; OFCI:&nbsp;Maintain&nbsp;visibility into long-lead equipment status, delivery risk, and OFCI readiness for assigned scopes.&nbsp; Commissioning &amp; Turnover Readiness: Independently manage readiness tracking for assigned scopes and surface gaps affecting&nbsp;commissioning, turnover, and operations.&nbsp; Stakeholder &amp; Team Leadership&nbsp; Stakeholder Coordination: Manage coordination across multiple stakeholders, adapting&nbsp;communication to decision needs, and act as a trusted&nbsp;owner&nbsp;point of contact for assigned scopes.&nbsp; Mentorship: Mentor Project Engineers and improve controls and coordination discipline across the team.&nbsp; Process Improvement: Improve reporting structure, tracker design, and&nbsp;coordination&nbsp;workflows for the broader project team.&nbsp; Basic Qualifications&nbsp; Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or&nbsp;a related&nbsp;field, OR equivalent practical owner-side field/project experience.&nbsp; 4+ years of construction, project engineering, or project&nbsp;controls&nbsp;experience, including time&nbsp;representing&nbsp;an owner/operator or developer preferred.&nbsp; Proven ability to independently drive coordination and follow-through across multiple stakeholders on large-scale, fast-tracked projects.&nbsp; Strong judgment on escalation, prioritization, and&nbsp;issue&nbsp;framing.&nbsp; Advanced&nbsp;proficiency&nbsp;with Procore (or equivalent) and Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with construction scheduling.&nbsp; Preferred Qualifications&nbsp; Experience&nbsp;on&nbsp;data&nbsp;center&nbsp;or mission-critical facilities.&nbsp; Experience mentoring junior team members or improving project&nbsp;controls&nbsp;processes.&nbsp; Strong&nbsp;communication&nbsp;skills and a collaborative, problem-solving mindset.&nbsp; Detail-oriented self-starter&nbsp;comfortable in a fast-paced, on-site environment.&nbsp; Growth &amp; Progression&nbsp; Adds ownership of coordination outcomes, mentorship, and process improvement to the PE foundation, and prepares strong performers to move into direct field accountability as a Construction Manager.&nbsp; About Fleet&nbsp; Fleet Data Centers designs, builds, and&nbsp;operates&nbsp;mega-scale data center campuses.
