PR – Banquet Sales Executive

Role Description The PR – Banquet Sales Executive is a full-time, on-site role based at Sunset Grill&Bar in Istanbul. This position is responsible for promoting the restaurant’s banquet and event services, managing client relationships, and driving event sales through proactive outreach and follow-up. Day-to-day tasks include responding to event inquiries, preparing proposals and quotations, coordinating banquet details with internal teams, and ensuring a seamless guest experience from initial contact to post-event feedback. The role also involves supporting public relations activities, maintaining brand visibility across relevant channels, participating in networking opportunities, and collaborating with management to achieve revenue and occupancy targets. Qualifications Event and banquet sales skills, including experience with corporate events, private functions, and fine dining hospitality. Public relations and communication skills, with the ability to manage client interactions, media contacts, and stakeholder relationships professionally. Customer service and relationship management skills, with a focus on guest satisfaction, responsiveness, and long-term client retention. Organizational and coordination skills, such as managing multiple bookings, timelines, and cross-functional communication between service and kitchen teams. Strong verbal and written communication skills in Turkish; proficiency in English is highly beneficial due to international clientele. Comfort with basic office software and reservation or CRM systems to manage inquiries, proposals, and event records. Previous experience in restaurant, hotel, or event management settings, ideally in premium or fine dining environments. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed for events. Professional appearance, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to working within a service-focused team. Relevant education in hospitality, tourism, business, communications, or a related field is an advantage. Good command of English is essential.
