Join us in coloring a safe and sustainable future! Job Description This role offers a range of $20 to $25 per hour. Actual compensation will be based on qualifications such as experience, education, certifications, and skills. The person in this role will assist in the production of high-quality printing Ink by performing any or all of these duties as directed. Checks tub cleaner daily to be sure that it is operating and up to temperature. Loads tub washer tank to capacity with dirty tubs during shift and before end of shift. Moves clean tubs to proper area for storage. Performs miscellaneous maintenance and cleaning jobs as required, including disposing of waste ink, oily rags and trash, cleaning floors, and shoveling and salting walkways when needed. Scraps out work-off ink to be reworked or used in next batch Inspects the chain hoist daily to ensure proper operation Operates solvent distillation unit safely (use of grounds, non-sparking tools, etc.). Helps on hazardous waste activities Supervises the removal of all trash accumulated during the work shift. All ink containers must be scraped clean before removal to trash. No ink, solvents, or solvent-soaked paper cleaning rags will be disposed on in regular trash.
