About The Role The role covers the full stack of product engineering
• React and TypeScript on the frontend, Python or Node.js services on the backend, and the APIs, databases, and infrastructure in between. This is a build role, not a maintenance role: the team ships new customer-facing features weekly. You will join a product-focused engineering team where decisions about architecture, tooling, and tradeoffs are made by the people writing the code. Work directly with product managers and designers to take features from spec to production. Key Responsibilities Build and ship full-stack features using React, TypeScript, and Node.js or Python, from database schema to deployed UI Design and implement RESTful and event-driven APIs, with attention to versioning, auth, and backward compatibility Own services end-to-end in AWS
• including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), and on-call rotation Work with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Redis, DynamoDB), writing performant queries and sound data models Collaborate with product and design to break ambiguous requirements into shippable increments Write comprehensive tests, participate in code reviews, and raise the bar on engineering quality across the team Debug and resolve production issues across the stack, from browser performance to backend latency and database bottlenecks What We Are Looking For 3–6 years of professional software engineering experience building and operating production web applications Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and a modern frontend framework (React preferred) Solid backend experience in Node.js, Python, or Go, including API design and asynchronous programming Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and at least one cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure) Track record of shipping user-facing features and iterating on them based on real usage Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
