Role Description The Transportation Driver is a full-time, on-site role based at Timber Ridge at Talus in Issaquah, WA. In this role, the driver safely transports residents to and from medical appointments, shopping trips, social outings, and other planned activities while providing courteous assistance and ensuring comfort. Daily responsibilities include operating community vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and company policies, performing basic vehicle inspections, and reporting maintenance needs. The driver also helps residents board and exit vehicles, maintains accurate trip logs and schedules, and communicates effectively with residents, families, and staff to coordinate transportation services. This position supports a positive resident experience by delivering reliable, friendly, and timely transportation. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong truck driving skills and experience operating a truck or similar vehicle safely and responsibly. Candidates should possess a valid CDL Class A or appropriate commercial driver’s license required for the vehicles operated. Candidates should possess effective communication skills to interact clearly with residents, families, and team members. Candidates should possess customer service skills to provide respectful, patient-centered support and a welcoming experience. Additional beneficial qualifications include a clean driving record, ability to assist with limited resident mobility needs, basic vehicle inspection skills, reliability in adhering to schedules, and prior experience in senior living, healthcare, or passenger transport.
