Lighting Quotations Specialist — Core Lighting Group Core Lighting Group is seeking a detail-oriented Quotations Specialist to support our commercial lighting business. Experience with LED tape and linear lighting is preferred, and candidates with experience in other lighting categories are encouraged to apply. In this role, you’ll prepare accurate, timely quotes and help our sales representatives, distributors, and customers identify the right products for their projects. You’ll work closely with sales and internal teams to clarify requirements, communicate options, and help projects move smoothly from quotation to order. Success in this position means delivering complete, accurate quotes, responding promptly, and providing dependable support to our customers and nationwide rep network. Responsibilities Prepare and revise quotations based on customer requests, project specifications, lighting schedules, and drawings. Identify appropriate products, components, and accessories, including LED tape, channels, drivers, and linear lighting systems. Review requests for missing information and clarify requirements with sales representatives and customers. Confirm pricing, product compatibility, availability, and lead times with the appropriate internal teams. Communicate product options and alternatives when needed. Maintain organized records of quotes, revisions, and project correspondence. Coordinate with sales and order entry to ensure quoted requirements are accurately communicated when projects become orders. Develop and maintain a working knowledge of Core’s products and applications. Qualifications Experience in lighting quotations, lighting distribution, manufacturer sales support, or a related role. LED tape and linear lighting experience preferred; other lighting industry experience is valuable. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple quotes and deadlines. Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills. Comfort working with pricing, measurements, product specifications, and technical information. Ability to read lighting schedules, specifications, and drawings, or a willingness to develop these skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and business software; NetSuite experience is a plus. A collaborative approach, strong follow-through, and a willingness to learn.
