Repair Technician

The Repair Technician repairs, tests, trouble shoots, and inspects electronic and electro-mechanical equipment, devices and other related equipment in accordance with proper company policies and procedures. Repairs equipment including controllers, power supplies, print heads and ink systems; inspects and tests all products to maintaining a consistently high level of quality. Adjusts and tunes products to provide optimum service and reliability according to established procedures and methods. Suggests approaches to improve products, procedural changes, and/or new methods of control and/or testing. Operates diagnostic equipment including oscilloscopes, pulsed generators, strobe lights, microscopes and other equipment. Monitors and reports on inventory of working stock and related items necessary to maintain acceptable work flow. Maintains equipment and work area in a clean and orderly manner; works within extremely close tolerances and part specifications. Ensures that repair report is completed for every work order, maintains proper filing of reports at all times. Additional duties as assigned
