More information is available at www.knighthorst.com. Role Description The Route Driver is a full-time, on-site position based in Nashville, TN. In this role, the driver will operate company trucks to collect, transport, and deliver documents, electronic waste, and recyclables along assigned routes. Daily responsibilities include safely loading and unloading materials, following all traffic and safety regulations, and maintaining accurate route logs and service documentation. The Route Driver will interact with customers at pick-up and drop-off locations, ensuring professional, courteous service and adherence to security protocols. The role also involves routine vehicle inspections, reporting maintenance needs, and collaborating with dispatch and operations staff to meet service schedules. Qualifications Strong truck driving skills with experience operating commercial vehicles and adherence to safety standards. Valid CDL Class A license and a clean driving record, meeting all DOT and company requirements. Effective communication and customer service skills to interact professionally with clients and team members. Ability to safely handle materials and equipment, including loading/unloading and secure document handling. Reliable work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to follow assigned routes and schedules independently. Basic recordkeeping skills to complete route logs, service tickets, and other documentation accurately. Capability to perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues promptly. High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in transportation, delivery, or waste/recycling services is beneficial.
