Role Summary:

The Field Service Engineering Specialist is a member of Metergy's Field Service Engineering team and serves as a technical resource for field operations, customer support, and cross-functional initiatives. This role is responsible for investigating complex technical issues, performing root cause analysis, developing field procedures and technical documentation, delivering technical training, and supporting customers and internal teams with advanced metering and communications-related challenges.
The successful candidate combines strong engineering fundamentals with practical problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences. This role works closely with Field Service, Project Management, Customer Support, Product Development, and Operations teams to improve products, processes, and customer experience.
In addition to supporting day-to-day technical operations, the Field Service Engineering Specialist evaluates new technologies, contributes to design standards and best practices, develops technical drawings and documentation, and helps drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
