Social Lead

Gülermak–YSE Joint Venture is looking for an experienced Social Lead to join the Ispartakule–Çerkezköy Railway Project team. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Social Sciences, Sociology, Social Policy, Environmental/Social Sciences or a related discipline, Minimum 10 years of overall professional experience, Minimum 8 years of relevant/similar experience in social management, Previous experience in large-scale infrastructure, railway, transportation or construction projects is highly preferred, Experience with internationally financed projects and IFI requirements (EBRD, EIB, World Bank, etc.) is an advantage, Knowledge of stakeholder engagement, grievance mechanisms, community relations, land acquisition/resettlement and social impact management processes, Strong reporting, coordination and communication skills, Good command of written and spoken English . Key Responsibilities Coordinate the implementation of the project’s social management requirements, Manage stakeholder engagement and community relations activities, Monitor social risks and impacts throughout project implementation, Coordinate grievance management processes, Prepare and review social monitoring reports and relevant documentation, Liaise with the Employer, Engineer, local authorities and other project stakeholders on social matters, Ensure compliance with applicable contractual and international social standards.
