Procurement Specialist

Location: Istanbul — Çelebi Hava Servisi Head Office (Istanbul Airport campus, Arnavutköy) or Ümraniye Office The Role As a Purchasing Specialist, you will manage procurement across one of Turkey's largest ground handling operations, from ground support equipment and technical spare parts to the service contracts that keep our stations running every day. You will work with domestic and international suppliers, build the commercial relationships behind them, and shape how we buy, not just what we buy. What You'll Do Manage procurement for ground handling and cargo equipment (GSE), technical spare parts, IT hardware, fleet management, and operational vehicles Run service procurement across catering, cleaning, maintenance contracts, personnel transportation, and security Lead negotiations with domestic and international suppliers and develop strategic supplier relationships Evaluate supplier performance on quality, cost-effectiveness, and on-time delivery Build purchasing strategies that deliver measurable cost optimization Ensure procurement processes comply with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements What You'll Bring University degree Preferably 5+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement Good written and spoken English Strong Excel skills, SAP MM module knowledge is a plus Proven negotiation skills, strategic thinking, and a solid command of supply chain processes An analytical approach and the ability to turn purchasing data into clear reporting Strong communication skills and a collaborative way of working Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Why Çelebi Çelebi is a fast, hands-on place to work, and one that invests in the people who keep it moving.
