Second Cook

MAIN FUNCTIONS: DICES, CHOPS and Preps all food for the PATIENT AND CAFETERIA MENUS/MEALS ALONG WITH FIRST COOK Utilizing Recipes on file. PANS MEAT FOR ROASTING. MONITORS TRAY LINE AND CAFETERIA REPLENISHMENT. OBSERVES DEPARTMENT SAFETY AND SANITATION GUIDELINES.Sets up food supplies and utencils for daily preparation.May complete the duties of the cooks helper when needed. May be assigned to catering activities including preparation set up and delivery of food. EDUCATION: HIGH SCHOOL OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE: ONE YEAR INSTITUTIONAL FOOD SERVICE experience as a cook Completion of a culinary citificate program perfered.
