The Vice President, Client Data & Analytics will be responsible for the full lifecycle of client intelligence—from service insights and sentiment tracking to opportunity identification and action planning. You will define and execute the strategy that empowers our advisors and client-facing teams with the right information at the right time, driving measurable outcomes for clients and the business alike.   Essential Job Functions for this role include: ●        Own and evolve client service insights, including tracking performance against client promises and measuring onboarding quality to ensure a consistently excellent client experience ●        Lead the client opportunity function, including development and ongoing refinement of the opportunity engine and associated dashboards that surface growth and retention opportunities for advisory teams ●        Manage client sentiment and risk analytics, including Net Promoter Score (NPS) programs, client check-in workflows, and predictive models that identify at-risk relationships before they escalate ●        Drive the client action plan capability, delivering both client-facing and advisor-facing end products that translate data insights into clear, prioritized next steps ●        Oversee client engagement and communication analytics, including cadence design and measurement to ensure touchpoints are timely, relevant, and high-impact ●        Build and maintain client specialty tagging infrastructure—including employer and niche tagging—to enable targeted and differentiated service delivery across client segments ●        Lead Upgrades & Repricing analytics, providing the data, technology, and process tools to support the commercial repricing process and associated client and advisor communications ●        Partner cross-functionally with advisory, technology, and operations teams to identify data needs, resolve data-related challenges, and continuously improve the quality and accessibility of client intelligence ●        Establish and uphold strong data governance practices, ensuring data accuracy, privacy, and security across all client data domains ●        Build, lead, and develop a high-performing analytics team, fostering a culture of curiosity, rigor, and client-centricity ●        Other duties as assigned Potential Future Scope (over time, this role may expand to include): ●        Advisory team position management, coverage modeling, practice analytics, and transition management support ●        Advisor risk analytics, including predictive team member models designed to integrate with people and talent processes   Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:   ●        Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; advanced degree preferred ●        Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or client insights, with at least 3 years in a leadership role ●        Deep understanding of client lifecycle analytics, including NPS, churn prediction, segmentation, and engagement modeling ●        Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases is required ●        Experience designing and delivering analytics products—dashboards, scorecards, action plans—for both operational and executive audiences ●        Proven ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders ●        Experience working with predictive modeling, machine learning concepts, or data science teams to develop client risk and opportunity models is preferred ●        Knowledge of Salesforce data structure and CRM-integrated analytics is preferred ●        Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, or equivalent) and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) is preferred ●        Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to influence without authority across technology, advisory, and operations teams ●        Experience in financial services, wealth management, or a client-centric professional services environment is a plus   Work Schedule: This professional role requires availability during standard business hours of Monday through Friday from 8AM to 5PM.  At times, the role may have early or late hours to meet business tasks and deadlines for external and internal client needs.       All roles classified as a non-exempt are required to record working time into the timekeeping system daily at the start and end of each workday plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch period.   Working Conditions: This position may be in a professional office environment or a dedicated home office workspace which is free of interruptions.  Whether position is in a dedicated office space or home office workspace, basic technology needs will be provided to satisfy position requirements.  Routinely sitting and standing for periods of time. No heavy lifting over 10 lbs.  Actual base pay within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the applicant’s geographic location, relevant experience, education, skills and licenses/certifications.  This position is also eligible to earn incentive compensation through one of Mercer Advisors’ incentive compensation programs.  Base Pay Range $191,250—$225,000 USDBenefits: Mercer Advisors offers a competitive and robust benefit package to our employees.   Our benefit programs are focused on meeting all of our employees and their eligible dependents health and welfare needs.
